We had the good fortune of connecting with Ben Jacoby and we've shared our conversation below.

Hi Ben, we'd love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I truly believe in the saying:" The bigger the risk, the greater the (Potential) reward."

Ben Jacoby is here to make a statement. The adventurer has sought enlightenment since his 2012 trip to Asia, and has made a habit of testing his physical limits through activities

Ben Jacoby runs fast on stilts but wanted to push himself and become the fastest in the World, so decides to attempt the Guinness World Record at the Burning Man Festival in Black Rock City, Nevada.

As the clock counts down, this short documentary details his training and the setbacks leading up to the World Record Attempt. He wouldn’t give up… but life doesn’t always go to plan… and you have to roll with the punches.

I had the awesome experience of being interviewed by NBC Miami about my YouTube documentary, BamBam Runs Fast, and my upcoming plan to break a new record.

Have you ever thought about racing against a horse...while wearing stilts? I’ve done just that and it’s really one for the books! It might sound crazy but hey, I experienced something that some people didn’t even imagine doing. How about you? What new things have you tried that you didn’t think you’ll ever do? Or is there something new that you’d like to experience? Maybe one day we can do it together.

I feel very fortunate I was able to spend my birthday this year with so many great people.

Aside from the usual shenanigans, this was a great opportunity to premiere the short documentary I have been working on #bambamrunsfast.
Definitely feels like our world is getting back on track, and I am getting excited!

Everyone told me "Don't do it!". I still did it, and I am so happy I did.
Just like in every story, some of the best parts are usually not caught on camera.

This was a true #Burningman miracle (#playaprovides)

How many times have you heard the expression, “Free as a bird.”? Skydiving showed me how true that saying is. There’s a different sense of freedom when you’re up in the sky.

I created an alter-ego called Bam Bam. He lets me push myself past the limits and do extraordinary things that Ben would normally not do everyday.

The world may be at a standstill but hang in there, extraordinary things are brewing. Wait a little longer and we’ll experience a whole new world of adventure.

Back in 2018, I did a thing; I attempted to break a world record at #burningman. Some of you know about it; some don’t.

I have decided it is time to tell the world how I did it and what it was all about.

Premieres seem like glamorous things from the outside. You know, with all the sleek cars, red carpet, and fancy attire. But for the person putting it on, they can be unnerving. They leave you feeling a little vulnerable and exposed.
Here is the behind the scenes look at my "premiere" and my thoughts as I set out on this journey. I'm a little nervous but mostly excited to share what it's like to live extraordinary with those of you who come along.

For me, it was an experience I had while traveling in Australia with my best friend Yoav back in 2015. We bought a bus and drove around the country DJing and performing at festivals.

Along the way we met Yuli. She popped up out of nowhere and added a unique vibe to our group. I didn't realize at the time our time together would be so short.
I tell the story of that encounter and how it shaped me on my blog this week.
