Dr. Hernandez is a Marine Corps veteran and a board-certified general surgeon through the American College of Surgeons, renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive, evidence-based procedures. Known for his compassionate care, he is dedicated to delivering excellent outcomes and is a steadfast advocate for his patients. Originally from Cuba, Dr. Hernandez moved to Miami as a teenager, completed high school, and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Rising to the rank of Sergeant, he served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
